IND Opening day re-enactment End-to-End Diary

I did the fallowing log on the first run downtown of the R-1/9 running in revenue service on the A Express between 168 Street and World Trade Center (Hudson Terminal). An event that added to the spice was that all A trains were running local in both directions due to no C service (F trains were replacing C trains in Brooklyn)

1034	Canal Street	Waited until 1039 because of mix-up on getting line up, normal A to Brooklyn switched in front of us

Travel Time: 39 Minutes
A Express Schedule time between 168 and Chambers Streets: 27 Minutes
Reason For Delays: Had to get line-ups and trains passed in front of us
