On the LA Metro Rail Line announcements are made but each line has its own slightly different process. The Metro Red Line Subway has only manual announcements. All three Light Rail Lines have automated Announcements but each line makes theirs slightly differently. All say "Station" at the end of any announcement describing a stop. The Gold and Green Lines share the same voice (just like they share the same cars), but on the Green Line every announcement begins with a computer generated alert noise, the gold line doesn't make this noise. The blue line has its own unique voice for its announcements

Metro Gold Line (Light Rail)

• The Next stop is Highland Park Station. (46 KB)

Metro Blue Line (Light Rail)

Metro Green Line (Light Rail)

• This vehicle is going out of service. This is the last stop. (127 KB)-This announcement was made in error (Operator must have pressed the wrong button)
• Making a station stop on the Green Line on a rainy day (740 KB)-Most of the Green Line's route is in the median of I-105, I made this recording of making a station stop in the rain, you can quite loudly hear that traffic.
• The next stop is Wilmington Imperial Highway Station, Transfer point to the Blue Line (105 KB)
