BART has no automated announcements on board the trains themselves, most Train Operators due make their own manual announcements. Stations though due have computer generated automated announcements saying how many minutes before the next train arrives. The onboard announcements are even more important because BART trains have no destination signs. LED Signs in stations display the arriving train's destination when it enters the station. Once onboard their are no signs. Onboard some trains have automated doors closing announcements.
