Washington/Central Ave is a light rail station in downtown Phoenix that serves Westbound/Northbound trains. The stop consists of a platform alongside the sidewalk of Central Ave between Washington and Adams Street. Just before the station the line curves north to run on Central Ave as the line continues. The entrances consists of ramps at either end of the short mini-high platforms up from the sidewalk below. There is a simple metal fence, the stop only has one canopied section that is alongside the fence (the tall builing behind the platform, provides most shade).
Public Art Program: Stephen Farley, the line consists of both photographs and enamel tiled panels of people working in downtown.
