Van Buren/Central Ave is a light rail station in downtown Phoenix that serves Westbound/Northbound trains. The stop consists of a platform that is basically the sidewalk and one side of Central Station (the main bus station in downtown) that is currently being fully rebuilt. The stop has the standard three shading structures with benches on both sides providing shade regardless of the sun's direction. The only thing the separates the sidewalk from the station is a low fence where the stops artwork is.
Public Art Program: Scrool Fence by Reis Niemi. It's ribbon design on the low fence that separates the platform from the regular sidewalk.

There is no catenary wires yet

The vegetation is growing nicely on the canopy superstructure

The sidewalk ramps up to reach the platform's mini-high level height

I don't think this fence will lead you to the platform for service in the opposite platform
