Harrison is PATH's local stop on Newark Trains when the PATH;s right of way is along the northeast corridor on either far side of the Amtrak/NJT Tracks the station is a viaduct and both platforms previde excellent vantage pionts, and provide excellent photo oppertuninites of NE Corridor Train service. The Newark-bound platfrom had was free (for travel just to Newark) for over 50 years, but PATH finally installed turnstilles at the staircase down to Rodgers Blvd South a few years back. The New York City-bound platform has many turnstiles in the historic looking station house that is still in use.
