<-Next stop Washington Street Military Park (Newark City Subway) Next stop Penn Station->

Military Park (Broad Street) Station is an underground Newark City Subway Station, located in downtown. The station is simple just one flight down from the street with no mezzanine what so ever and each platform has two exits. Major portions of each platform has been fenced off, since the platform is much longer then one NJ LRV that is currently operated, the fences also require people to walk by a TVM to buy the NCS Proof of Payment tickes. The Branch Brook Park platfrom still has old fareboxes on it in the entrance area across from the TVMs. The station was renaemed Military Park only in 2004 the remove confusion with the Broad Street Station the northern terminus of the short new light rail through downtown. Modern style sings hanging from the cieling say Military Park, but "Broad" is still in the tiling in the wall trim. The walls also have various mosiaics of people doing various tasks.
