Newark-Broad Street Station is the northern terminus of the new downtown Newark Light Rail Line. The station is at street level and is directly next to the Newark-Broad Street Rail Station of the Monclair-Boonton Line and Morris & Essex Lines that are on a large viaduct. The terminal is a simple two-tracked island platform terminal and the station canopy has a design similar to Atlantic Street and Washington Park, with a red beam just under the canopy saying "Broad Street Station". The station also has unique TVMs that sell all types of New Jersey Transit Tickets (Train, Bus, and Light Rail).
