THE MONTRÉAL MÉTRO

The city of Montréal is in Quebéc, Canada, the city itself has a population of 1.8 million people, and is located mainly on an island in the St. Lawrence. Qubec is the French speaking part of Canada, French is the official language, but most signs are bilingual.
The Metro consists of 4 lines which are identified by colour (
Côte-Vertu to Henri-Bourassa, Snowdon to Saint-Michel, Honoré-Beaugrand to Angringnon, and Berri-Uquam to Longueuil) and has 65 stations (). The Métro is completely rubber tired and underground. In the city a number of stations are part of the 'underground city'.
