Marble Hill-Metro-North Hudson Line

Yonkers is located on the Hudson River in the downtown of New York's 4th largest city. The station isn't the only Metro-North station in the city of Yonkers. (Others are Ludlow, Glenwood, Graystone on the Hudson Line, and Bronxville on the Harlem Line). The station has service every half hour or better, with most trains stopping. The station is also an Amtrak stop with most Empire Service, Ethan Allen Express, Adirondack, and Maple Leaf trains stopping. Some trains due bypass the station.
The station itself has two island platforms so all 4 tracks platform. The station has finished it's historic rehabilitation. With the platforms receiving tactile warning strips, station elevators, and small heated waiting rooms with no benches on each platform. The real glory of the station though lies in its station house. It has been restored to look like its original New York Central Days although with Ticket Vending machines since the ticket office is open weekday mornings only now.
