50 Street is a normal IRT local stop. There is one exit at 50th Street and Broadway in the heart of the theater district, there is no free transfer between directions. Most of the stop has new modified tiled name tablets. Some old ceramic ones still remain near the exits where there also is an art installation based on Alice and Wonderland. The station was recently rehabilitated.
