Primavera, 2003, Glass Mosaic and Faceted Glass
By Raúl Colón

There are two parts to it: the first is mosaic mural on the end of the small mezzanine overpass to the platform by the staircases to the uptown platform and is designed to show the diversity of Washington Heights. The second section are two stained glass windows in the station house for the elevators on the surface on St. Nicholas Avenue. These are in a little corridor that used to lead to second doors for two of the elevators that has now been closed off to the public by a high gate, one is visible through the gate, the other not.
