A Tunnel Portal South of the Station
(all photos unless otherwise noted are by Jeremiah Cox on 9 September, 2004)
125 Street
is the located in the middle of a
large valley and exits the tunnel from 116 Street directly in the
median of Broadway at 122 Street. The tunnel portal is a very good out
of system photo location for photographing 1 and 9 trains going up and down the straight el on Broadway. The
portal has a 5 foot high concrete wall and then a high, large, broken
chain linked fence, it may be hard for shorter people to photograph at
this location.
