About Brairwood/Van Wyck Blvd
Brairwood/Van Wyck Blvd is a local stop, it has side platforms. The E stops except Rush Hours and Middays, when the overflow of the Jamaica yard is on the center express tracks. Brairwood was added to the name in 1988 when the Archer Avenue extension was opened, to avoid confusion with the next stop on the E Jamaica-Van Wyck.
