E (All Times) To: Jamaica Center, Queens (Northbound) or World Trade Center, Manhattan(Southbound) via 8 Avenue Local and 53 Street or Queens Express

G (all times) To: 71-Continental Avenues, Queens (Eastbound, nights and weekends only) or Smith-9th Streets (Southbound) via Crosstown or Queens Blvd Local

V (Weekdays Only (Monday-Friday 6AM-Midnight) To: 71-Continental Avenues, Queens (Northbound) or 2 Avenue, Manhattan (Southbound) via 6 Avenue and 53 Street or Queens Blvd Local

the E V portion of the station at 23 Street-Ely Avenue has side platforms and 2 tracks. There are two exit location one at either end. The transfer and main exit is at the Queens Blvd end.

Transferring from the two lines you walk up stairs at the Queens Blvd end of the E V platform up a flight of stairs to the E V mezzanine (the columns here are still painted maroon) walking across there is a long passageway (~250 feet). The main (Court Square) exit is in the middle. In the passage way there is the only people-mover on the subway. There are a total of two: one from the E V to about the main exit, the other finishing off the bit to the G. Since there is only one in each of these places the people-mover changes direction depending upon the time of day. There are then staircases down to the G island platform.

The Court Square G island platform is the terminus during rush hours and middays. (and weekends often because of construction) A these times there are the assortment of subway cleaners. There are at least two staircases down from the transfers towards the middle of the platform. The suggested exit for the MetroCard transfer to the 7 is near here.
