For Want of a Nail, 2000: The Inner Earth Staircase
The second staircase from the northern end of the platform at 81 Street has dazzeling red and orange tiles that are definately designed to give the passenger the feeling they are passing through the core of the earth. At its bottom landing and the entrance to it is a sphere that looks like the earth
