For Want of a Nail, 2000: Lower Level: Fossil Ceramic Relief Tiles

The Lower Level downtown platform at 81 Street consists of various ceramic relief tiles all of various fossils that the museum has. It is the only part of the station where labels are incorporated into the exhibition (text on tiles nearby), labeling what fossils are from which animals.
