(155d17) Looking down the wide and fairly long mezzanine at 155 St-8 Ave, the columns seem to take up a lot of space on it.
24 June, 2008 (155d18) For what seems like a fairly large station because of all of its infrastructure all it gets is three measly turnstiles.
24 June, 2008 (155d19) Looking up the ramped up area on the downtown side of the mezzanine, there are High Exit gates from the end of this sloping upwards mezzanine so those leaving the platforms at the their northeastern ends don't have go all the way down to the turnstile area and retrace their steps.
24 June, 2008 (155d20) A mosaic for the now closed men's room at 155 St-8 Ave.

24 June, 2008 (155d23) A mosaic and old painted sign for the now closed to the public womens room along the uptown side of the mezzanine at 155 St-8 Ave.

(155d25) The very, very wide 4 times a normal subway entrance entrance to 155 St-8 Ave. I can't think of another station that has a staircase this wide coming down from street level
24 June, 2008 (155d26) Another view of the M-pillar in the middle of a staircase down to the station at 155 St-8 Ave, a sign saying Welcome to Polo Grounds Towers with a crude drawing of a sports stadium is visible behind this staircase as well as 155 Street's raised overpass.
