Each One, Every One, Equal All,2022
Glass Mosaic By Nick Cave

Nick Cave is an artist who created "soundsuites" which are large alien second skins that are designed to fully obscure the race, gender and class of the wearer. For the new Times Square 42 Street Shuttle Station there are three large installations of mosaics in three different places.

The largest is "Every One" it runs along the north wall of the entire length of the new passageway from the end of the. It also includes some video elements (which I didn't notice when I visit, the screens were just showing ads, including fatphobic ones) on a set of LCD advertising screens in the middle of the passageway

"Equal All" is along a new wall in the main entrance area from the rest of the Times Square Complex, that closes off Track 4's connection to the rest of the subway system to the Uptown 1 train track

"Each One" is outside of fare control along the new entrance area to 42 Street and 43 Street (where the shuttle platforms and original tracks once were). These are smaller and look more like masks.
