L
8 Avenue is the Western terminal of the L and has 1 island platform. The station was renovated and now looks like a normal L station with '8's and cermic shapes for the trim. The station was an IND built extension from 6 Avenue, meaning that the station had a much simpler IND design and opened in 1931 unlike the rest of the line that opened in the 1920s.
