Old Mill is a quite unusual subway station. The stop is located partially underground and partially on a viaduct, as the train line breifly leaves its tunnel mid-station to crossover the Humber River, and the vally created by it. The station has the standard two side platforms. There station's single exit is at the eastern end of the station in the tunnel section. In the underground portion of the station the tiles are a grey color with marron colored trimline and name text. In the portion of the station that's above ground, the entire platform and tracks are enclosed with a roof. Plexi-glass is the walls of the station allowing natural light to come in. Within this plexiglass area is a solid line of red with Old Mill written in it at various intervals. |
