Morena/Linda Vista

Morena/Linda Vista is the first intermediate station on what is now the Green Line but opened serving the Blue Line on November 23, 1997. The station has the standard two side side platforms which are a short ways west of where the tracks curve across at a grade crossing where Friars Road intersects Napa Street. The station's two platforms have more modern shelters. The northern, Old Town-bound platform has an extra wide shelter with with support beams and a blue roof on the edge of the main parking lot where most of the station's 165 parking spaces are. A SuiteAmerica extended stay hotel is along the eastern end of this platform. The southern, Santee-bound platform and has two smaller white with blue roofed canopies along it and two pathways from it to Friars Road where there is another, smaller parking lot.
