La Mesa Blvd is a station on the San Diego Trolley. The stop has the standard two side platforms whose southern end is the grade-crossing with La Mesa Blvd from which they extend north. The Gillespie Field-bound platform is totally bare of shelter and is between the tracks and Spring Street. The San Diego-bound platform is along a modern transit oriented housing development. This platform has two unique canopies with wide square concrete pillars holding up metal canopies in the style of the concrete buildings of the transit oriented development that surrounds the station. The lampposts on the platform are unique vintage looking fixtures. Just south of the station is the historic La Mesa Depot.
