Mariposa Ave/Nash St is the first stop after the green line curves away from the Century Freeway and onto its own guideway above Nash St. It is the only Green Line station to lack designated parking, which doesn't make the stop any more urban. It is surrounded by the standard industrial areas, that make up the entirety of the area around the stops south to Redondo Beach. The station has an island platform and is located along the west side of Nash Street with the Northern end at the intersection of Mariposa Avenue. At this corner the elevator goes up to the platform. This is followed by a staircase/up escalator and than a regular staircase. About half of the platform has a canopy with triangles protruding from the red central skeleton for lighting.

Artwork: Manifestation of the Soaring Spirit by Charles Dickson, designed to show the parallels of space to nature. The columns that hold up the guideway have etchings that look like circuit boards. Benches are little black pods and there abstract images of space above them. There is also some imaging in the floor of the station.
