About Lawrence Street-MetroTech

Lawrence Street-MetroTech is more interesting that it may seem, there is no tiling anywhere on the platform except on the back and sides of the stairwells which are quite narrow since the island platform is quite narrow. The station does have two exits each with a small mezzanine. On February 17, 2004 when I was there just before full service over the Manhattan Bridge, the Brooklyn-bound destination signs had been changed but not the Manhattan-bound signs.
