Cleveland St is a typical J-line Fulton Street elevated station with a narrow island platform. It was rehabilitated in 2007; the station house is at track level, between the tracks on the extreme western (southern) end of the station. It is so narrow that there is only room for two turnstiles plus the panic bar Emergency Exit. These lead to a single staircase down to an intermediate landing where a doors leads to a tiny employee locker room and employee toilet before splitting into two on a bridge with two staircases down to the NW and SW corners of Cleveland Street and Fulton Street.
