Minneaopolis-St. Pual's Midway Station was built in the mid-1970s to be and is located directly inbetween downtown St. Paul and downtown Minneapolis. (Although the station is technically in St. Paul). Since it's not in the downtown of any city the station has the feel of a suburban station. The station house is quite spred out, and their looks like aple parking at it. It is currently just a service stop on the Empire Builder though an extra Coach is either attached or removed from the train (Amtrak's reservation system lists this as a seperate train #808, running from here to Chicago only). to hadle the larger passenger volume using the Builder has a corridor train to Chicago.
