Fraser, CO is the Amtrak Station for the Winter Park Ski Resort. Currenlty in Amtrak literature it's referred to only as Fraser, CO) in the very recent past it's been Fraser-Winter Park, and the three station abbrivation is stil 'WIP'. The station has a simple long concerete side platform and an ornate looking large wodden shelter, with a heat lamp that can be activated. There also is a small red building across the street that has an enclosed waiting area for the station. There is free shuttle service to the Winter Park Resort six miles away.
